FAQ
1. I have problem playing the file that I have just downloaded. What to do?
Usually this suggest you have problems with the audio/video codec that you have on your computer. Our approach to this problem will be removing all codecs on the PC/Mac and installing new ones. Our favorites are CCC Project and K-lite Mega Codec Pack. Also you can try installing our favorite media player – KMPlayer, because it uses codecs of it’s own instead of the pre-installed (if not configured to do other). If all of these
2. The file I downloaded is in strange format. What do I need to watch it?
Usually if it is not in .avi , .mpg or .divx, for which you just need proper codecs and player (see point 1.) we have provided the file in archived version (.rar, .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .gzip, etc…). In order to watch it you have to extract it with additional software (if .zip all users using OS X and Windows XP or later can just use the built-in unzip function). We strongly suggest using WinRar or it’s free alternative 7-zip. If the file’s extention is .001 that means it’s just part of a .avi file – you will have to download all parts and unsplit them with HSplit.
3. I have problem with downloading files with Megaupload. What am I supposed to do?
Obviously we cant help you with finished quota error – just buy premium account there. If there’s error: “File unaccessible at the moment” that means that there’s problem with one of their servers and the file will be accessible within few minutes (usually it doesnt take them more than 30 min to solve such problems). If file is “deleted due ….” please comment in the proper post and we’ll take actions immediately.
